*IMPORTANT*

Rally Day Protocol

* Be saddled up and ready for gear check at 8:30am. NOBODY is allowed to be mounted prior to the 8:30am gear check as gear must be checked before mounting to ensure that it meets safety standards.

* At each rally day parents are required to sign in their children. Riders cannot be gear checked until the register is signed. Parents please seek out the register to sign in. It will be located at the back door to the canteen near the cold-room.

**If for any reason you will be leaving the grounds throughout the day you MUST ask another adult to sign in as the guardian of your child whilst you are gone. Please notify the other adult that this is happening and sign back in when you return. This is in case of emergency situations and must be followed. If there is no guardian or parent signed in and on the grounds, the child will NOT ride.**

There are 3 more reasons why signing in is also mandatory:

1. It is now a Biosecurity requirement to track horse movement.

2. As evidence for State Championship nominations (nominees must have attended 3 rally days in the previous 12 months.

3. To be eligible for end or year awards at the Annual Club awards night.

* Rally days will now be finishing at 4:00pm. Riders will finish their lessons and then tie their horses up on the inside of the ring and EVERYONE will assist in packing up the equipment. No rider may unsaddle until all equipment is packed away. Many hands make light work and if all riders and guardians/parents assist in packing away the equipment, it will only take a short time. If riders miss out on some of their lessons, these will be made up at the next rally.
